The safety and well-being of our clients and therapists are fundamental to the principles that Quiescent Retreat was founded upon. To ensure this is achieved in every session, the following Code of Ethics highlights the responsibilities for both clients and therapists.

Treat clients with professional respect that includes providing only services within the scope of practice for Massage Therapy, not overstating qualifications and maintaining qualifications through continued education.
All treatments will be administered in a professional manner with respect for our client’s confidentiality, boundaries, safety and privacy.
The therapist’s intent will focus on our client’s health and well-being with treatment plans developed based upon client’s input and requests.
The treatment and draping will be discussed with our clients prior to the start of the session.
Both our clients and therapists have the responsibility to respect personal boundaries, both physical and time related. This also includes the right to stop or change the session at any time either feels uncomfortable with the course of the treatment.
Maintain a clean professional environment, supplies and equipment, and a high standard of personal hygiene.
Clients will be referred to other medical professionals when appropriate for our client’s health and well-being.
Records will be maintained in an accurate and secure manner protected from disclosure.
All advertisement and marketing will imbue professional integrity.
