Maria’s interest in bodywork and massage started because of her curiosity in finding the source of aches and pains and applying a holistic approach to recover and live as pain free as possible. She would spend time researching on how to alleviate pain through self-massage, stretching and mobility.

Maria is a Certified Bodywork Therapist graduating from the Vancouver School of Healing Arts. She is certified in Deep Tissue, Myofascial release, Swedish, Joint Release, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Indian Head Massage, Sports Massage, Hot Stone, and Aromatherapy.

Maria’s session starts by getting a sense of your body. She will then integrate different modalities to support an individual’s needs and design an effective treatment plan. She helps bring awareness in your body and find freedom from tension held within. Her goal is to encourage movement and range of motion. She enjoys deep tissue and can provide the required depth needed to release tension and enhance relaxation.
