Mandy has been a resident of the midcoast Maine region for over 15 years. She has worked in many professions trying to find the best fit for her interests and passions. After more than a decade of practicing yoga and completing a 200 hour teacher training with Shiva Shakti in 2012, she began to consider massage therapy. In 2015, she completed this education at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. Since then, she has completed continuing education workshops in deep tissue and thai yoga massage and has completed Level I Trauma Touch Therapy ™ and will be enrolling in the Level II course in 2023.

Community is very important to Mandy, as well as the art and science of massage therapy. When choosing a location for her own therapeutic space, she knew that she wanted to work with the people of Waldo county and the surrounding areas.

Mandy loves helping people feel better through her work. She values creating a safe space for clients, assisting them to create space, length and softness in their body. Mandy is sure to target particular areas of interest and will customize sessions, using a variety of techniques based on her client’s goals. Mandy will also send clients away with some tips and tricks they can use at home to help them feel better between sessions.

Another passion of Mandy’s is local agriculture. Mandy has been involved in the local agriculture community for over a decade and has worked under some of the most talented and knowledgeable farmers in the area. After spending time working with local vegetable farmers, she found her way to cheese. Mandy has been a cheesemaker, working alongside award winning Maine cheesemakers and learning as much as she can. She is currently working on building a cheese space at her own farm in Searsmont.

When Mandy is not working or hanging out with her animals on the farm, she enjoys playing roller derby, hiking, camping, backpacking and is always seeking new ways to move outside of her comfort zone, challenge herself, and learn something new.
