Jayela has always been passionate about self care. Not only does it provide a great boost of serotonin and dopamine, but it puts emphases and appreciation on what you bring to this Earth. You work hard, and you are worth all of the time and energy for proper rejuvenation and body work maintenance.

Prior to college Jayela attended Oakland County Technical Schools during high school and earned her Cosmetology License. After making the decision to attend Western Michigan University, she was practicing a bit and earned her degree in Integrated Supply Management and Accounting. After graduating and working in large corporate environments for a few years, she witnessed constant stress and how it can easily deteriorate an individuals everyday mood.

While still being passionate about the Beauty & Wellness industry, Jayela made the decision to enroll at Irenes MyoMassology in Southfield, MI to study professional bodywork. Not only did she learn about the benefits of massage and wellness practices, but she also learned the dangers of not having those things in your life. The "silent killer" of stress can be very aggressive if you let it. Since we cannot just eliminate stress in our lives (if you know, please send a how to video to my email!), it is extremely important to have a constant balance of self care. Massage Therapy provides a great abundance of what you need to keep you feeling like your best self!

It can be very draining balancing work and family obligations- and it is even easier to neglect your personal needs while doing so. Jayela's passion is to promote others to be still- and really take a moment to tell yourself GOOD F*cking JOB! You are worth the acknowledgment, You are worth receiving the energy that you put into others, plus realizing your self worth (plus tax ;)) will only make you perform better at work and with your other life obligations.
