Tricia Newman, founder and owner of Healing Hive Massage and Bodywork, is a licensed massage therapist, beekeeper, teacher, artist, and nurturer. She graduated summa cum laude from the Academy of Natural Therapy 1000 hour massage therapy program. Called back to her roots, Tricia now teaches anatomy and physiology and mentors future massage therapists at the Academy.

She loves helping people reduce pain, increase functionality, and find balance in body and life. Practicing with holistic ideals, Tricia specializes in relaxation and neuromuscular techniques, prenatal massage, and reflexology. She has also received training in orthopedic massage and movement therapies. In her spare time, Tricia enjoys creating digital, textile, and canvas art; beekeeping with her husband; caring for her dog, cats, and chickens; and growing her indoor and outdoor gardens.
