Mother and Mine Massage is an in home massage business ran by me, Sariah Boyer. Mother and Mine Massage markets to women, mothers, infants and children. Mother and Mine Massage is founded by Three Pillars to fulfill several purposes with massage.

1. With the healthy, comforting, and the safe touch of massage, Mother and Mine Massage strives to restore the comfort, kindness and support for "The Village". "The Village" meaning the community that at least used to be established to help those who have become mothers. We live in a world with less resources for mothers and children, less help, and in fact less women becoming mothers. Thus creating stress and tension in motherhood, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Mother and Mine Massage is a place for mothers to feel that release of tension, to feel comfort and support within their role as a mother.

2. We provide mothers and their children a way to establish healthy bonds and attachments, and safe ways to connect through healthy and safe touch through massage. Massage is a conductor for proper bonding between mother and child, while massage for infants and children can benefit their sleep and digestion as well.

3. Mother and Mine Massage is centered in providing a "mother's touch". During development in the womb through infancy, the infant learns how to self soothe from their mother via their nervous system. If their mother never has had a healthy nervous system, has anxiety or any other mental health issues, endured a lot of stress/ postpartum depression during pregnancy and or postpartum, or was neglectful, abusive, or absent during their infancy, that child never learns how to self soothe and have healthy coping mechanisms. Therefore, that child grows up to live in constant survival mode, flight or fight mode, never relaxed or at ease ,and in a constant state of stress and physiological turmoil. One way to help stop these patterns within these persons is to interfere with the improper patterns they have with healthy and safe touch from a person who is grounded and has a healthy calm nervous system, which comes from the massage therapist.
