I'm Janel, Massage/Ashiatsu (barefoot massage) therapist, mum of 2, past runner, lover of family & friends,vintage & farmhouse, Harry Potter & owls.

My approach to bodywork is with the heart of a healer. I listen to your individual needs. I work with you intuitively, enthusiastically and positively. I LOVE what I do. My love for what I do has been opulently enhanced by continuing education, yoga practice, distance running, family, good healthy foods and many creative pursuits, including most recently the amazing addition of Ashiatsu "FasciAshi" Barefoot Massage.

What is Ashiatsu? The Japanese translation is: Ashi (foot) Atsu (pressure). Ashiatsu is performed with the practitioners feet, utilizing overhead bars for balance. FasciAshi Barefoot Massage is: Sustained deep compression's that provide fast acting and long lasting results. The pressure is deep but not "pokey" like an elbow, thumb or fingers and sustained throughout the massage providing an extremely therapeutic and profoundly relaxing experience. This treatment is perfect for all types of athletes as well as those who have dense muscle tissue or if you feel that your massage is just never deep enough.

What if you don't like deep pressure? No worries! FasciAshi can be the deepest massage you'll ever receive but it doesn't have to be. One of my favorite things about massage is that I get to tailor each session to the individual client's needs. This type of massage can still be very therapeutic and relaxing even with a lighter touch. I want you to change your way of thinking to "Hurts So Good" NOT "No Pain No Gain".

I am lucky to call the Pacific Northwest my home. Born and raised in the greater Seattle area, I have enjoyed many hiking trails, nature trails, parks and mountains. I graduated from Ashmead School Of Massage, with honors, on August 15, 2003. I first worked out of Lake Stevens Massage Therapy clinic for 2 years and then branched out on my own and have had a thriving business here in the downtown Everett area ever since.

I enjoy providing both therapeutic and relaxing massage for my clients as well as specialties, such as: Medical/Injury Treatment Massage and Ashiatsu (FasciAshi) Barefoot Massage. I also enjoy enhancing your treatment with the addition's of: Steamed Towels, Hot Stones or Warm Bamboo, and/or Cupping Treatment at no extra charge with your session.
