I am a licensed massage therapist in the State of New Jersey. After completing 1200 hours of study in Eastern and Western clinical practices, I chose to pursue a career in wellness. I realize that I had a passion for facilitating the healing process for individuals who have been through traumatic experiences.

My interest began when I witnessed my brother overcome Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis which he has had since he was 18 months old. How his condition impacted my family inspired me to become more aware of the body and how it responds to stress. I also witnessed the benefits of pharmaceuticals, their side effects as well as the value of alternative therapies. I saw the connection between maintaining an active healthy lifestyle and striking a balance between natural healing practices and pharmaceutical remedies to relieve chronic pain and stress.

I have 10 years’ experience in massage therapy. I have helped many people overcome pain without the use of drugs or injections and my work has extended the life of natural hips and knees until surgery became the last resort.

No single approach is ideal for every individual. Often one treatment is not sufficient. I work with the client to reduce/eliminate stress/trauma. It is, as they say, “a process.” Sometimes just relaxation and “melting into the table” is quite therapeutic. Other times the treatment required is to relieve pain from years of stress/trauma.

I hold certificates in multiple modalities, and I continue to study to keep abreast of new information in the massage field. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Music Management. I managed orchestras in New York State and facilitated theatrical productions in New Jersey for 10 years before my career in massage therapy.

I love the work I do. Massage Therapy is my calling. The opportunity to assist an individual in achieving a more productive wholistic lifestyle is very fulfilling and I embrace it and enjoy it!
