I began my journey of holistic healing after I developing an autoimmune disease after the birth of my son back in 1995. Prior to this point I was very active, playing sports, running, the list goes on! During my son's birth I required a blood transfusion and soon after my health declined. I would not accept a life of crippling arthritis, chronic fatigue and daily medication as my new reality. I realized that something changed and that I wanted to restore my health with lifestyle modifications instead of taking medication, including steroids, on a daily basis. My doctor did not say I was crazy, he actually agreed and offered to monitor my health over the next year. During that time, to his surprise, my health was restored. HOLX was born!
