Hi! My name is Rachel and I’ve lived in the beautiful Arkansas Valley since 2000. I have worked in a variety of settings throughout the years including familiar businesses such as Nature’s Pantry (now the LettuceHead), Ark-Valley Humane Society, and Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center. I originally trained in massage therapy over 14 years ago, working on and off as a massage therapist over the span of six years. After those six years, I made the choice to leave behind massage therapy and devoted my time and energy to learning about and working in healthcare.

After the birth of my daughter, something inside of me shifted. Deep down, I missed working in alternative health care. I realized that my time had become a lot more precious and I wanted to be spending it on things that mean the most to me. I opened Oldways Wellness with the intent of offering massage therapy, health coaching, and eventually Ayurveda. In addition to returning to massage therapy, I have completed health coach training at IIN, and am currently pursuing training in Ayurveda with Yoga Veda Institute.
