Joel has been practicing massage and a variety of manual therapies for over 15 years. He's instructed and developed curricula for UCMT and Healing Mountain, and more recently has been a teaching assistant for manual therapy approaches developed by osteopathic doctors, called Visceral Manipulation (hands-on therapy for supporting internal organs) with the Barral Institute, and Craniosacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute.

Joel's intentions are to help you feel more at home in your body. Using approaches that support the body in relaxing, adapting to stresses and trauma. We'll be identifying and facilitating treatment to cause and results from acute and chronic dysfunction\pain. Your comfort and respect are the utmost priority during your session.

Naturally his path has guided him many directions in seeking a greater understanding of our body and how to help it heal with a dynamic approach.

Over the years Joel has done treatments with most populations; all ages, prenatal, special needs, athletes, post-surgical; orthopedic, organ removal/transplant, oncology/radiation, lymphedema.
