Jim has been helping people unwind all kinds of pain and dysfunction in their bodies since 2003. His training is vast as as a NC Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist, a dancer, and a movement instructor and researcher. He has also helped thousands of clients to breathe more easily, to transform their movement patterns, and to maximize peak functioning to a high degree.

Jim trained with John Barnes, founder of the Myofascial Release Treatment Centers and Training Seminars. He has treated at the Myofascial Release Treatment Center in PA, and is a certified Advanced Myofascial Release Therapist to treat both acute and chronic pains and dysfunctions. In addition, Jim has studied with Mary Bond (Rolf Institute Movement), has trained extensively in CranioSacral Therapy, also uses his training as a

Somato-Respiratory Integration facilitator (a holistic breathwork modality developed by chiropractor Donald Epstein) to educate and empower his clients to move with more ease and enjoy what it is to live well in their bodies. He believes this is possible to some degree for us all.

When he's not treating clients or dancing, Jim likes spending time outdoors in the mountains of western NC, researching the amazing human body, and sharing banging good food with the ones he loves.
