After nearly 15 years of working with bodies, my approach to massage has become something much more personal than a routine or a sequence of techniques. I think of what I do now simply as bodywork—an intuitive, intentional, deeply individualized experience that begins by listening to the person and the body in front of me.

My career began in the corporate massage world, where I learned my craft, built lasting relationships, and met many of the clients who are still with me today. But over the years, my work has continued to evolve.

The longer I do this, the more I trust my hands, my experience, my intuition, and the guidance I've learned to listen for.

I don't begin a session believing I already know exactly what your body needs. I begin by paying attention.

Sometimes that means deep tissue work. Sometimes myofascial release, acupressure, trigger point work, stretching, reflexology, or slow, gentle attention to an area that seems to be asking for something different. Often it is a combination that unfolds naturally throughout the session. I follow patterns of tension, restriction, compensation, and connection rather than simply working through a predetermined routine.

This work is deeply personal to me because I also know what it is like to live in a body that can be complicated. I have spent my own life learning from physical challenges, searching for answers, and developing a much deeper relationship with my body along the way. What once felt only like difficulty has also become one of my greatest teachers. It has given me enormous empathy for people who are tired of saying, “Something just doesn't feel right,” or who have learned that their bodies don't always fit neatly into a simple explanation.

My faith has changed me, too. It has given me greater freedom to trust the gifts I've been given and to practice from a place that feels authentic rather than trying to make my work look like everyone else's. There are moments during a session when I become very quiet inside and simply allow my hands to listen. That connection—to the body, to the person, and to something greater than myself—is one of the things I treasure most about this work.

So if you're looking for a traditional, identical-every-time massage, I may not be your person. But if you're looking for someone who will pay attention, stay curious, look for patterns, and approach your body as uniquely as you experience it, you may feel very much at home here.
