I welcome anyone seeking relief from stress, pain, or trauma. Massage is a great catalyst of the healing process that is innate to all of us.

Over the last 14 years I have provided therapeutic massage in community clinics, spas, and chiropractic offices in Chicago and the greater Twin Cities area. I enjoy seeing people on a regular basis and watching them improve with consistent self-care.

My specialties include Pregnancy Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Table Thai stretching, Cupping. I especially enjoy providing massage for TMJ, headaches, neck/shoulder/low back pain, abdominal/digestive issues, depression/anxiety.

I started practicing bodywork as a child after a visitor to our home from West Africa showed me how to massage the head to relieve my brother's headache. I treated my father's back pain by walking on him, performing Thai Massage before I knew what it was. We used glass fire cupping to alleviate symptoms of cold. I spent time lying on a prickly acupressure mat that I found to be a very interesting toy. From an early age I understood that simple techniques could significantly reduce someone's pain rather quickly. It is this aspect of massage that I find most elegant and fulfilling.

I became a massage therapist because I have always been inspired by healthy living practices and I love working with my hands. In time I understood how truly therapeutic massage can be for anyone seeking to heal and feel better in all their daily activities. It is a practice I revere.

I like to conduct a thorough intake. Having a complete medical history greatly helps in determining a treatment plan and appropriate application of techniques. I value communication and open feedback during treatments, as they help ensure that your needs are met. I encourage diaphragmatic breathing during sessions, due to it's pivotal role in maintaining homeostasis.
