Hello and Welcome! My name is Morgan McPherson. I am a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (since 2012) and owner of The Enlightened Body (since 2020).

My mission is to provide exceptional service in an intensely calming environment, to be mindful and intentional in my work to alleviate stress, pain, and soreness and to treat all clients with unconditional positive regard.

I practice Mindful Massage, which is a term I use that describes my focus and intentionality regarding your specific needs. I prefer to be mostly quiet during my work in order to provide the best session for you that allows your body to relax and experience the many health benefits that a skilled and experienced professional massage therapist can provide.

Appropriate communication consists of any feedback on how I can adjust the pressure I'm giving, your comfort level, and any other necessary pieces of information related to the body. I may also communicate directions on breathing, as in some modalities, the way we breathe can have an enhanced effect on the outcome of the service.

I do allow some time between my appointments to go over any questions you may have regarding your bodywork, your treatment plan, and any recommendations I have. My favorite modalities are Swedish (Relaxation), Deep-Tissue, and Trigger Point Therapy.
