Therapeutic Massage
Is your body in need of some loving touch? Whether you’re recovering from an injury or daily stresses have you all tensed up, I am here to provide some relief. I offer a unique and intuitive blend of Deep Tissue massage, Swedish massage, and Structural Integration based on your body’s wants and needs. We will work through deeper layers of connective and muscle tissue to elongate muscle fibers, release chronic patterns of tension, decrease pain, increase mobility and promote an overall state of relaxation. This is typically a full-body massage (unless otherwise requested) but we will make sure to devote extra time and attention to where you need it most. You will leave feeling as if your whole body took a sigh of relief.

Craniosacral Therapy
Whether you want to alleviate symptoms of pain and dysfunction, release the effects of physical or emotional trauma trapped within the body or find a deep sense of relaxation, CranioSacral Therapy (CST) could be the next step in your wellness journey. CST is a gentle, hands-on bodywork modality that aims to restore balance to the central nervous system. No muscle pounding with this approach. Rather, think of this as a massage for your nervous system as we allow the body to reach a deep state of relaxation and organically open up to its own natural healing processes. CST has helped many find relief from chronic injuries, migraine headaches, neck and back pain, TMJ dysfunction, and so much more.

In a typical CST session, you will lay fully clothed on the massage table with bolsters and blankets available to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I will begin by tuning into the rhythms of your body and then apply very light pressure. This gentle, sustained touch helps the body move past its defenses and reach a state of deep relaxation. The session will progress into techniques such as fascial unwinding, cranial manipulation, and spinal tractioning depending on the needs of your body that day. Even though the touch remains light, the effects are quite profound. Clients are often surprised at how much relief they can find with such a gentle approach.

As we work together with CranioSacral Therapy, we may adventure into the realm SomatoEmotional Release (SER), a therapeutic process that uses and expands on the principles of CST to help you rid your body of the residual effects of past injuries and negative experiences. SER facilitates a gentle process for releasing tissue memory, thereby helping clients decrease the adverse effects of past traumas. There is vast research to show that a change in physical health is accompanied by a change in mental health, and it is equally documented that the reverse is apparent. SER is a holistic mind-body somatic approach that may also assist clients in gaining insight as to how that held trauma is influencing their physical and emotional health. SER may help support your transition from dysfunction and unresolved issues towards wellness and optimal function.

A gentle, hands-on energy healing experience that promotes deep relaxation and reduces stress.
