Hi! Great to meet you!. My name is Christine Dacus. I am a Canadian-trained licensed massage therapist and owner of Chattanooga Therapeutic Massage, located in the Ooltewah/Collegedale area of Tennessee.

Growing up I always knew that I wanted to help people in some way. I was very interested in medical related studies, however being a doctor or a nurse didn’t seem to suit me. One day, I was immersed in an article about massage therapy which went on to explain how massage is not just for relaxation; that it has a multitude of therapeutic purposes as well. I was instantly hooked. Within months after reading that article, I was enrolled in massage therapy classes, pursuing my true passion. I haven’t looked back since and that was just over 20 years ago now.

During my career I have not only been able to experience the benefits of regular therapeutic massage for myself, but I have also had the privilege and honor of working with many thousands of people just like you; people who have been living with pain on a daily basis, thinking it is just a part of life. That is of course until they experience the benefits of regular therapeutic massage.

Now I am finally able to realize my dream of opening my own place and offering my services to those in need of relief from pain. It doesn't matter the cause of your pain - whether that be physical pain from overuse, playing too hard, injury or other everyday events such as pregnancy, or emotional pain due depression, anxiety, grief, stress, and/or overwhelm. In this day and age it is certainly hard not to find someone who is living with some sort of pain.

Outside of massage, you can find me enjoying camping, hiking, home life, and spending time outdoors with my family and our pet chocolate lab, Rayne.
