Hi! My name is Megan Eaton. I am a California state certified massage therapist #87717, registered yoga teacher, and owner of Bodywork By ME. Taking a holistic approach to wellness and bodywork, I offer a variety of eastern and western modalities of Massage Therapy: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Therapy, Thai, and Sports Massage; Private Yoga: Vinyasa, Katonah, and Restorative, and Kids; Ayurveda: Consultations and Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy. All of my offerings come from a place of integrity and compassion, maintaining a desire for growth to hold space without judgement in order to restore balance and ease to the individual.

Born and raised in Indiana, I spent most of my life in the role of care-giver, looking after children, adults, and individuals with special needs. After a spontaneous move to NYC in 2011, I found myself in the role of full-time nanny. As much as I love giving to others, the energy exerted needs to be refueled as well. I found this refueling through a daily yoga practice. On my mat, I was able to unravel he chaos and pressures of the sudden and unfamiliar changes showing up in my life. The knowledge, trust, and healing I was learning through my yoga practice was something I knew I wanted to share with others. It was at Yoga to the People where I realized there was a new opportunity and way for me to help and care for others. Completing my first teacher training in 2014, I taught part-time until moving to California in the midst of a pandemic to take it on full-time. As the world changed, so did my call to care for others. Being drawn to the body and assisting with movement that created comfort and ease, my next step only seemed natural. In 2020 I enrolled at the National Holistic Institute where I earned 800 hours of massage therapy training.

With over 10 years of practice and more than 500 hours of training, a hands on approach to care-giving and my background in yoga has equipped me with the kinesthetic knowledge and the awareness to apply a whole body approach to massage therapy and bodywork. I truly believe that through the body we can create a dialogue that allows us to connect.
