Hi, I am Cindy. I believe the heart of healing lies within the body’s ability to communicate and interact effectively with its environment. Today, life's demands divert our attention, and we get caught up in the rat race rather than give our bodies and minds the love they deserve. Whether it is an office job that keeps your body in a crouched position, daily repetitive lifting, inactivity, or emotional weight that we carry, our bodies respond to the environment and the things we do, say, and feel. Too often, the response is pain. Our bodies bear the burden of all our stress, physical and emotional. Pain is your body's way of demanding attention. Massage therapy provides targeted muscle manipulation to address pain of all sorts of pain and bring harmony to the mind, body, and soul. Willow Wood Therapeutic Massage is the place to go to "fill your cup"; to restore yourself; to be who you are meant to be.

I chose the name for this place of compassion and healing because my dog, Willow was a true source of healing for me. Her unconditional love and sweet spirit brought me through a very difficult time. While the willow tree is often associated with sorrow, the sight, or mere thought of it delivers calm acceptance and serenity. The wood of a willow is flexible and strong. It is this internal ability to adapt that lends to the survival and beauty of this magnificent tree. That same metaphorical root system is present in the human body. Within ourselves, we hold the ability to adapt; to grow stronger.

Nurture your mind, body, and soul by booking a massage at Willow Wood Therapeutic Massage today. Our street-level entrance and ground-floor location is easily accessible and there is metered parking in the front as well as free parking in the back.
