Hello! My name is Marti and I am honored to be able to serve my community with massage therapy. You can find me offering bodywork from my home at 1378 Fieldbrook Road. I also offer mobile massage to homes in Arcata, Eureka, Mckinleyville, and the surrounding area for an additional travel fee.

I graduated from Arcata School of Massage in 2014, and have been practicing massage professionally since then. I come from a family of healers, so health and wellness have always been a top priority of mine. My mother was also a massage therapist and taught me everything she could about what makes a great massage! I've taken multiple workshops and continuing education classes, building on my somatic education background whenever I can. This allowed me to develop a massage style that is uniquely my own, a celebration and combination of all these avenues of learning that I have come across in my life. My hope is that with more knowledge and tools at my disposal I can more readily adapt to the needs of my client and provide the best massage possible!

My approach to massage is intuitive, therapeutic, and relaxing, while striving to help the body find alignment, ease of movement, and optimal vitality. The modalities I practice include Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, Lomi Lomi, Trigger Point, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Release, Cupping, Prenatal Massage, Aromatherapy and a few Craniosacral Therapy techniques.

Self care and a regular massage is a great way to bring ourselves back into a space of inner peace and calm. We can regain alignment, release stress and tightness, work through soreness, and increase our overall health and wellbeing. Whether you just need to take some time for yourself, relax, find balance and equilibrium, or even release deep held chronic muscle tension and pain within the body, massage can be a very useful and impactful routine in our lives.

I really enjoy the work I do, and I hope to be able to continue to learn more in the world of body work. I hope to transfer this joy of taking care of our bodies through massage to you as well. Whatever the body is needing or experiencing, I hope to be able to provide a session that is relaxing, but also therapeutic enough to last long after you have left the massage table and gone back into your daily routine.
