Selflessness, balance, ability to communicate verbally and nonverbally, compassion, empathy, patience, which develops over time, outstanding listening skills, knowledge and the willingness to learn. These are simply a few of the qualities one should possess when caring for others.

Caring for my grandmother as a young girl and later to care for my mother beginning in 1984 to present day. This paved the way for me, to work in the health care industry.

My background is in hotel management, gained knowledge of medication from employment with Merck-Medco for 7 years, worked for multiple home health agencies and assisted living facilities where I cared for the elderly and disabled.

June of 2014, is when I was sure that practicing Massage is how I wanted to live the rest of my life occupationally. I applied to Anthem College within that month, only to have the school close 3 months later. I had to start over. I knew I had no time to waist. I visited several campuses around the DFW metroplex. I received a call there after from a the Texas Center for Massage Therapy and I started school by the 14th of October.

Several months later, I graudated from school, too the state exam and began employment with Hand and Stone , of Plano. I remained employed with the spa until May 19th. On May 22nd I dedicated myself to ownership of my business that you now know to be Walk N Healing.
