Greetings, my name is Bernardo and I am a massage therapist with over 18+ years of experience in the massage therapy world. I currently work for myself as the business owner of Bernardo Sports Massage, LLC. From 2015 to 2023, I was a team massage therapist for the Chicago Bulls basketball NBA franchise. For 15 years, I was a staff massage therapist at a physical therapy company.

I utilize a blend of Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point release, myofascial release, Thai massage, manual lymphatic drainage, cupping, fascial stretch, and sports massage. My clients range from young to old, weekend warrior to elite athlete, performing arts to athletics, and individual to team settings.

My experiences include numerous massage event coverages including: USA Swimming Olympic Trials, Chicago Marathon, AVP Chicago Open Beach Volleyball, CONCACAF Soccer, Skate America International Figure Skating, and Illinois Swimming Club Team Championships. I was the massage therapist at several international yoga retreats including: Cres (Croatia), Puerto Escondido (Mexico), Essaouira (Morocco), Ibiza (Spain), Cavtat (Croatia), Amalfi Coast (Italy), and Sayulita (Mexico). I was the team massage therapist to several organizations including: USA Triathlon/Duathlon World Championships, Wake Forest University Men's Tennis, Joffrey Ballet, and Fenwick High Swimming/Diving Programs.

I have a Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Michigan and a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois-Chicago. I enjoy doing HIIT workouts throughout the year and playing competitive beach volleyball in the summer.
