Vital Massage is located in Berry Hill just off Thompson Lane. Jared is a licensed massage therapist specializing in deep tissue and neuromuscular work with the true intent to help people feel better. Jared is passionate about the work and has an in depth knowledge of the body and how pain comes to be. He enjoys investigating and solving difficult pain patterns, and thrives on helping clients to learn how to make any necessary adjustments to how they function outside of the massage in order to avoid a recurrence of pain. In 2024 Jared will be completing his specialized certification as a Neuromuscular Therapist through Precision Neuromuscular. Neuromuscular therapy involves locating the tight and/or sensitive spots in the soft tissue and applying just enough pressure to the area to create a change. These areas can be very tender or they may radiate pain to another spot on the body. This type of work is very effective and can facilitate great changes in someone's well-being. The body tries hard to keep us from feeling pain by creating compensation patterns, so often times we dont even realize all of the "restricted" spots we have until eventually we "sleep wrong" etc. and then we feel it at its most intense. Jared is an excellent choice for anyone looking to avoid/relieve pain and correct any soft tissue-related dysfunctions.

A note about sessions:

At the start of each session, a brief discussion will take place about any areas of concern, occasionally including some muscle testing, that the results of the work may be measured. Then, Jared will leave the room and allow the client to get comfortable on the table before he knocks and reenters. He combines neuromuscular work with added myofascial and Swedish techniques, allowing the client to relax fully into the deeper work.

How long of a session should you book? - It totally depends on what you want to work on and how severe it is, but in general, the longer the better. For some, Jared may require the full 90 minutes to address one system of problems, while for others 90 minutes is the perfect amount of time for a full-body massage.
