Before becoming a massage therapist, I was an educator for nine years. During a lunch break I journaled, pondering what a career encompassing all of my core characteristics that allowed my authentic self to shine would look like. A lightbulb went off! I need to pursue massage therapy!

I am a nurturing person with a desire to help people by default, and I had found a career option that would value my desire to be a vessel of light and love. I set up a tour of Irene’s Myomassology, and it was a perfect match! I loved the school, it’s vibes and values. I knew it was the place for me. During my schooling, I absolutely fell in love with the healing power of massage and the healing I received in return for the work I put out.

I’ve found a home away from home at Dustin Palmer Bodywork & Massage, and am currently practicing Swedish massage, deep tissue, reflexology, and Reiki.

In my spare time I write poetry, attend local art shows, and spend time with my cat Aspen.
