This summer is bringing some beautiful growth, renewal, and exciting new learning opportunities for Healthy Manifestations.

After 14 years as a massage therapist, I’m taking my very first summer sabbatical. For six weeks, I’ll be stepping away from the massage table and spending time in the blueberry fields of Leaburg, Oregon — grounding, resetting, and giving myself space to rest, learn, and return renewed.

This season also marks an exciting new chapter in my continuing education. From July 30 through August 2, I’ll be attending the NeoLifting® 4-Day Training in Portland. NeoLifting® is a holistic, non-invasive facial lifting technique that blends facial sculpting and modeling, buccal intraoral massage, manual lymphatic drainage, mindful breathing, and soft-tissue work for the face, neck, jaw, scalp, and cranium.

What I love about this training is that it aligns so beautifully with the work I already offer: calming the nervous system, softening held tension, supporting natural movement in the tissues, and helping the body return to a more relaxed, open, and balanced state. This work is not about “anti-aging” or trying to fix the face. It is about supporting natural facial rejuvenation, easing jaw and facial tension, softening expression patterns, encouraging lymphatic flow, and bringing more relaxation and vitality to the head, face, neck, and nervous system.

Later this fall, I’ll also continue advanced studies focused on the head, face, scalp, neck, jaw, and nervous system, including Advanced Facial Rejuvenation Techniques, Headaches: Releasing the Vice, and Facial Cupping & Gua Sha: Where Spa Meets Function.

When I return, I’ll continue offering the deep, grounding Ashiatsu bodywork my clients know and love, while gradually weaving in new techniques to support facial relaxation, jaw and neck tension, headache relief, lymphatic flow, and overall softness through the upper body.
