Betsy believes in the transformative power of bodywork to impact a person’s health and quality of life. She is certified in the Vodder method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage. She is passionate about the power of lymphatic massage to regulate immune function, increase energy, and heal from both short and long-term illness. Her training includes massage protocols specific to supporting people with multi-system chronic illness such as Lyme’s Disease and post-COVID syndrome. She has also been trained in neurolymphatic massage, which supports general brain health as well as healing from concussions and alleviating symptoms of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzhiemers and Parkinson’s. She has also studied Swedish massage, prenatal massage, and biodynamic craniosacral bodywork.

Betsy has a background in midwifery and has been attending births since 2006. She has supported hundreds of families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum as a midwife, doula, and childbirth educator. Her background includes specialized training in trauma-informed care and supporting survivors of sexual assault. She is also trained in Spinning Babies and the Body Ready Method, modalities that integrate movement physiology, breathwork, and bodywork to facilitate an easier pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
