Lisa first became interested in extended health care in 1985 when she had the privilege of being mentored for a period of 5 years by a Buddhist Monk from South Korea, whom was also a Traditional Eastern Medical Practitioner. It was during this time Lisa was taught the benefits of Therapeutic Cupping, Acupressure and Herbology.

Five years later she took her first course in Massage Therapy in 1990. Studying various modalities followed over the years.

1994 offered an opportunity to learn and study the combined technology of sonar/infrared imaging. Lisa still utilizes this knowledge when assessing damaged muscles or blockage in the lymphatic system.

In 2012 after the regulations in Alberta changed to needing 2200+ hrs for licensing, Lisa returned to college. Twenty five years after her first Massage Therapy course, she graduated from her second Massage Therapy Course in 2015.

2012 to present learning opportunities have included Qi Gong, Advanced Cupping, Structural Integration, Orthopedic Therapy, Laser Therapy training, Ear seeding, Thai yoga, Aromatherapy, plus more.
