Hello, my name is Nathan Peterson. I love giving a great massage. Whether it be a focused massage (such as shoulder or neck pain), a deeply relaxing yet powerful full body massage, or a mix of both. I will do my absolute best to help you toward your wellness goal.

I have been obsessed with bodywork for 20 plus years and graduated in 2009 from East West School of Massage. Over the years I have studied Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Structural, Tuina and Swedish massage, I may use several of these modalities during one session.

I am the kind of bodyworker who is here to help more than comfort, but of course, if you need it, we can do a simple relaxation massage. I always try and remember to ask you what your goal for the day is. The massage can be talkative, silent or a bit of both. That is up to you. I enjoy either. I believe myself to be very intuitive and can usually find the pain spots without many words from you. I want to push you a bit though as this will not be just a "Fluff and Buff" massage (There are spas everywhere where you can purchase those types of treatments). I will also look at your posture, movement patterns and range of motion and evaluate what seems to be happening and do my best to help you.

Sometimes, there are miracles, sometimes not, but I think almost everyone leaves my office feeling and moving better than they entered it. I will often send you videos or articles to help you to help yourself, but I am not going to be pushy about it. It is your body and your choice to follow my advice or not (I know I have ignored my fair share).

As far as Covid is concerned I am still very careful. I have never gotten Covid, I am fully vaccinated, and no one has acquired it from my studio. The room is sterile and safe, yet comfortable. I have the window cracked (unless it is too cold) to let in a little fresh air, an air purifier, a fan to circulate, a space heater to warm us up and a table heater to keep you toasty, if you prefer. As far as masks go, I am always going to wear one from here on out, but I leave it up to you to wear one or not. But...there are still risks. If either of us has a cold we will cancel (with no same day cancelation fee). That may seem extreme, but I plan to keep this place running perfectly and safely. I have some older clients who are fragile, and I care for them deeply! But I am here for you. I believe this work is essential to many people and if you need me.... schedule an appointment! PS. If you are in EXTREME PAIN, feel free to call or text me if you cannot get in any time soon. I will either find some time soon, if I feel I can help, or direct you to someone else who can (another massage therapist, chiropractor, etc.).
