Hi Friend! Thank you so much for visiting my site and for making the choice to be proACTIVE in your health and fitness. If there is anything that I know for sure, it's that our health goals are on-going and ever-changing due to life's ups and downs. It has taken me years of persistent small steps to get to where I am today and I'm honored to be in a position to help others grow.

Often times my clients and students they are surprised to hear that I grew up in rural Nevada and spent my early adult years as a Wildland fire fighter. It was a very fun stage in my life that I wouldn't trade for anything. During those years, my love of outdoor recreation grew tremendously and gave me the foundation I continue to build on today. Fire fighting allowed me the opportunity to travel and backpack much of South and Central America. It was also then that I began on my journey as a holistic health provider, which I believed would allow me to travel and work anywhere in the world. Little did I know what kind of door I was opening.

In 2008, I moved back to Arizona to pursue several more years of schooling in Holistic Healthcare, which I feel is an unending sea of information. I bounced around working in Holistic Health centers, fitness centers, under physical therapists and other professional physicians. I taught yoga, provided services in hypnotherapy, massage, stretch-therapy, life coaching and energy work. However, it was not until the Fall of 2011 that the scattered pieces of my life started to come together.

I opened Active Lifestyle Therapy, LLC in Tempe, AZ with the intention of working solely for myself (a life-long dream). I am fortunate to work on athletes, from high school to the pros, weekend warriors, outdoor enthusiasts, yogis and many healthcare professionals. I value my clients and my students and I care about their successes. I love that I get to know who they truly are, what they truly want and can help them set up the pieces to efficiently work towards their goals. I am passionate about helping others work through their mental and emotional road blocks and help them create new belief systems that support their lifestyles.

Currently, I teach Massage Therapy at a massage school as well as run a very busy business based in the heart of Tempe. I am so grateful for every passing day and realize that there is always more to learn and new ways to improve so that my work has a greater impact on those who need it and empowers those who have so much to offer others.

I believe that this career path found me, more than I went out looking for it. I originally went to massage school so that I could travel. While I still have dreams of seeing the world, I find that I have a purpose to be of service to others; to empower others to succeed.

I have struggled in health, in loving myself, in setting realistic goals, in dedicating myself to the process and forgiving myself when I fail to meet my own expectations. Hell, I still struggle sometimes. However, I have committed to learning tools that help me bust through my own limitations and I have seen dramatic changes in myself as well as clients over the years.
