Nelly Vitoria, LMT, AOS is a technically trained Sports, Orthopedic and Clinical Massage Therapist. She graduated with honors in 2011 from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy with over 1500 hours of training. She also has an Associates Degree in Occupational Studies with an emphasis in Orthopedic, Clinical & Sports Massage Therapy.
Nelly is skilled in Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage Therapy, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage and Integrative Trauma Therapy. She has advanced trainings in Myofascial Release, and is Certified in Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy.
Nelly focuses on biomechanics and proper alignment. Her advanced trainings help guide her to detect and correct muscle lever imbalances that lead to distortion in the body framework. By integrating spinal biomechanic with deep tissue work, she aims to align the entire body while working to unwind specific body compensations and imbalances. Nelly also works with fascia, joint imbalances and helps to remove restrictions in the muscles, alleviating pain and restoring function.

Nelly worked at an Urgent Care Rehab facility for 4 years and has worked closely with orthopedic doctors, surgeons as well as Physical Therapists offering urgent care and Worker’s Comp Care to acute and chronic patients. She focused on therapeutic and personalized treatments for injured persons that revolved around measurable, lasting results for patients. She also works with veterans who have PTSD. Being mindful, sensitive, and understanding the needs of people with post-traumatic stress issues and how it translates in their body as it resides in the nervous system.

Because Nelly has gone through her own healing experience and self transformation, she has the ability to create a safe space for her client’s to heal. With intuition and sensitivity, Nelly draws from her varied training to tailor each massage session to the individual receiving it. In doing so, she will assist in your healing process as you connect with your body to open up, both, physically and your inner self to deeper levels of connection and healing. Experience: Nelly has worked at Concentra Urgent Care and Concentra Advanced Specialists in Boulder and Denver for 4 years. She also works with veterans who have served in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan that are dealing with PTSD issues related to their combat experiences. Nelly has worked many sports events such as the BolderBoulder, Tour De Cure, and Venus De Miles, communicating with each athletes current need using sports massage, cramp resolution and stretching techniques to reduce recovery time.

When Nelly isn’t working, you can often find her doing the things she loves such as snowshoeing, x-country skiing, hiking, and camping in this wonderland we call Colorado.
