Hello!

My name is Kimberly Johnson, and I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist.

I always had a passion for taking care of others, and wanting everyone to feel better. My original plan was to become a Registered Nurse, I started on that journey and found out the hard way that I'm not a fan of blood and needles! I couldn't do an IV to save my life, let alone someone else's! I put school on hold for a while and worked Retail Management, a few places to list are Yankee Candle and Charming Charlie's. I married my wonderful husband, Jeremiah, in October 2009, and we were blessed with our first son, Landon April 2011. Another few years later we had our "Surprise" blessing Mason in August 2015, and our family was complete. As I continued to work retail, I always felt like I was missing quality time with my family, and told my husband that I needed a change. I decided to quit my job and go back to school! At first he reluctantly supported me, I know I'm a little crazy having two kids and going down to one income, but my husband always believes in me. It was tough but God always provided and I feel like I found my "calling" in life.

I graduated from Eastern Virginia Career College in 2018. I fell in love with medical massage when I completed my externship at a fast paced chiropractor office. I hit the ground running when I received my license and went right to work at a local chiropractor office for a few years. I always dreamed of being my own boss and making my own schedule around my boys. August 2020 I made my dream a reality!

I have my own space where I can provide custom massages for each and every client that comes in. I like to say my massage is custom to each individual because I like to use different modalities and techniques to achieve the best results. Every persons body is different, and each person has different areas of concern. I like to observe my clients posture, gait, and range of motion, as well as what their everyday activities are that may add stress to their body.

I have worked with Chiropractors and Physical Therapist in developing care plans for clients recovering from surgery, injuries, chronic pain, and recovering range of motion.
