I began my massage therapist career 30 years ago, I went to Heartwood Institute which was up a mountain by windy road from the small town of Garberville, CA. I had great teachers. At my school I learned Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Chinese Medicine, Nutrition, and Iyengar yoga, while also observing organic farming, permaculture design, and building a house with strawbale technigue, holistic learning and living.

Continguing to learn always, here is the list: Swedish massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Pre/Post Natal massage, Osteopathic training which includes : Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Myofascial Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, and Muscle Energy techniques.

I bring my 30 years experience as a massage therapist with osteopathic training. I also have a holistic nutrition certificate, have been practicing yoga for 30 years and have trained in capoeira. I have worked in spas- 7 years at Soho Sanctuary, 7 years at Naturopathica, medical offices, sports events, with theater cast and crew, tv/film sets, high profile people, low profile people, wide ranges of health and ability. I have practiced yoga for my own maintenance, also trained in capoeira and can speak some portuguese. Btw, I am a visual artist and play drums. I have also massaged horses and various pets!
