Lisa Jackson, has a clear and powerful personal vision- to bring science, medicine, psychology and spirituality together in the service of healing. Lisa’s vast knowledge emerges from many of her passions as a health advocate through alternative medicine, nutrition, fitness education, and bodywork. Lisa is the creator of Mind and Body Solutions and is a graduate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. She became a Holistic Health Teacher from New York’s Teacher’s College at Columbia University. Lisa is a board certified Holistic Health Counselor by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Also, she is a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Personal Trainer through the National Association of Sports Medicine. After graduating from the highly acclaimed Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, she practiced massage in the community while expanding her training skills and eclectic style. Lisa has therapeutic spa experience, and she has focused greatly on functional rehabilitation from her collaborative work with Chiropractors and Physical Therapists and uses her skills to help Plastic Surgeons rehabilitate their patients as early as 24-48 hours post op.

Not only is she well rounded in alternative therapies, she has a passion for art and design. With a degree in Interior Design and Architecture Technology, Lisa transforms ordinary spaces into extraordinary places. She believes our environment is essential for well-being and she uses her keen eye when sculpting bodies post cosmetic surgeries.

Lisa has been a practitioner of bodywork since 2005, and maintains an active private practice. Her experience in health and healing has provided invaluable knowledge about both mind and body. By integrating Eastern and Western medicinal therapies, she supports others in overcoming health obstacles. Lisa has studied everything from the traditional to the scientific; from the ancient traditions of macrobiotics, Ayurveda and Chinese medicine to modern dietary theories. World-renowned medical doctors, bestselling authors and gourmet chefs, including Dr. Andrew Weil, Deepak Chopra, Dr. Mark Hyman, and Paul Chek are just to name a few of Lisa’s teachers.

By designing specialized programs for individuals and coaching them in achieving a healthier and happier life, she educates clients about the importance of whole foods, nutraceutical supplementation, exercise/movement, and creating obtainable goals.

With a gentle graciousness, enthusiasm and humor, her unique holistic approach offers clients the opportunity to live more fully. Lisa has received a Presidential Commendation, “for providing solutions for families and communities in need, through service.”
