April Straight has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 25 years and has spent 18 years educating future therapists as a Certified Massage Instructor in Mississippi. She has taught at both Healing Touch School of Massage in Hattiesburg and Blue Cliff College in Gulfport, helping shape the next generation of massage professionals.

A former collegiate basketball and softball athlete, April earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training (Sports Medicine) from the University of Mobile. Her background in athletics, combined with decades of hands-on clinical experience, allows her to understand the unique demands placed on the body by sports, work, and everyday life.

April specializes in Sports Massage, Orthopedic Massage, injury prevention, and movement-based recovery. Her approach combines advanced massage techniques, stretching, and targeted treatment strategies to help clients reduce pain, improve mobility, recover from injuries, and perform at their best.

Throughout her career, April has worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels, including youth, high school, collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes. Her client experience includes athletes from the NFL, NHL, MLB, WNBA, WFA, and Olympic competition.

Whether working with a competitive athlete, an active adult, or someone simply looking to move and feel better, April’s goal is the same: to identify the root cause of dysfunction and help clients return to the activities they love with less pain and better performance.
