There is the kind of relaxation and enjoyment that is overt, and spoken aloud to the mind. A great meal, a wonderful stretch, the company of a loved one. And there is another kind of pleasure that is subtle, and perhaps a little harder to put words to. When your body becomes more integrated, when you stand a little taller and bones and muscles align, when the chi (energy flow) moves without obstruction in an area where it had been blocked - this is a kind of integration that can make was was difficult feel easy, and allow you to access deeper connection to yourself.

Does the feeling of effortlessness and clarity come from the work that is done expressly on the fascia, muscles and bones, or does it come from the more energetic, whole body TCM work (Traditional Chinese Medicine) included in every session?

Combining a Western, myofascial approach with an Eastern, energetic and structural approach, results in a session that is therapeutic on the deepest levels. A session with me may range all the way from a deep-tissue focus on muscle and fascia to a quiet session working on acupressure points and meridians. Whatever end of the spectrum we we lean toward, the work will be both integrative in approach and integrative in the feeling you have in your body after our session
