I am a Board Certified Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (BCTMB) professional, which represents the highest voluntary credential a massage therapist can achieve in the field—surpassing state licensure. Board Certification reflects a commitment to advanced education, ethical practice, and lifelong professional growth, aligning with the standards set by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).

To earn this certification, I met rigorous requirements including:

750+ hours of massage education
250+ hours of hands-on professional experience
Criminal background clearance
A passing score on the Board Certification Exam
Agreement to uphold NCBTMB’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice

This designation demonstrates my advanced assessment and critical thinking skills, as well as a deep dedication to the well-being of my clients.

I am also a Certified Medical Exercise Specialist through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), with over 20 years of experience in rehabilitation, strength training, and conditioning. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with musculoskeletal injuries, cardiovascular, and pulmonary conditions.

As someone who deeply understands the nature and cycle of pain, I have developed a unique style of Clinical Medical Massage, combining my expertise in therapeutic massage with advanced exercise rehabilitation techniques. I am licensed in the state of Michigan and nationally certified by the NCBTMB.
