Jaclyn Watkins L.M.T.

Hi! My name is Jaclyn, but please feel free to call me Jackie. I’ve been a massage therapist for the last 15 years and don’t plan on stopping any time soon.

I LOVE the art of massage. The chance to help people wipe away their stress and heal them through touch is a skill that I take very seriously. When I first became licensed, I started working at one of the big chain massage establishments. I worked there for about a year before I realized that it wasn’t the type of massage I wanted to do. Nothing against those big chains, but they are more interested in the financial aspects of massage, rather than the actual care of the client (in my experience). Needless to say, I ended up leaving that company and joined a physicians office that offered both eastern and western medicine. Over the next several years I worked closely with Chiropractors and Acupuncturists to develop a tailored treatment plan for each client. I was starting to see my clients feel better. Both physically and emotionally. We were not only treating their physical ailments, but you could see a drastic change in their stress level and mental health. Now, I’m not a mental health professional (although my father is), but I do know that if you are able to decrease stress and physical pain, it will aid in mental clarity. Which is something we should all strive for.

I have just recently opened up my own private practice in Sebring, FL. I am located in the office of Dr. Tad Serralta (chiropractor). I look forward to working with new clients of all ages, and hope to work alongside Dr. Serralta in healing the community around me. One massage at a time.
