• MYOFASCIAL BODYWORK for pain, tissue recovery, scars, and ongoing chronic issues

* Myofascial release is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of muscle, tissue immobility and pain, and is excellent for a wide variety of injury and discomfort problems, as well as loss of range of motion, pre- and post-op surgeries, and scar tissue.
The method engages the Myofascial tissue and applies slow, careful, and comfortable pressure until release occurs. This allows slow movement through the layers until complete release is achieved.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY for trauma release and realignment with the central nervous system

Fully clothed light touch energy work for those wanting support in holistic self-healing. Supports and assists your body to release, shift, heal, and reintegrate, while working on healing injuries, trauma, issues, emotions, calming nerves, and rebalancing your central nervous system.
CST therapists are facilitators for your journey, and the goal is to assist you without imposing any particular beliefs or agendas into your experience.

MEDICAL MASSAGE for injuries, specific area and point-work

This is for injury and recovery work around auto-accidents, slips and falls, impact, sport, and other types of injuries, and utilizes specific area work during the session. I do not take insurance at this time but can provide a receipt and session notes for submission to your insurance, doctor, or health-care provider

POSTURAL ALIGNMENT SESSIONS for mental and physical balance and realignments

Many chronic and other problems often stem from poor posture which can negatively affect the brain, breathing, organs, movement, stability, health, and outlook. Because the body responds to our intention, many postural problems and their related negative outcomes can be corrected through simple practices and easy adjustments into a much more positive structure with a balanced outlook.
Feel better and enjoy life more! Get rid of dowager's hump, forward head, loss of movement and other structural imbalances.

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE for relaxation

This is mainly full-body work for relaxation, stress-reduction, and relieving minor aches and pains.

PURPOSE AND HISTORY:

After leaving massage school, Carol found herself drawn to helping people with injuries, physical complaints, imbalances and misalignments, and found that working as an employee in a franchised massage business did not give her the opportunities to help that she desired. She decided to become her own boss.
That’s when Carol started her own business, Heart of Healing LLC on March 15, 2016.
After she started her business, she worked as an Independent Contractor as part of The Healing Team, and was with them for 5 years until April 2021. She also concurrently worked at an auto-injury clinic beginning April 2016, pausing that employment in March of 2020 due to covid restrictions, and in favor of working on her business full-time.
In January of 2021, she opted to use her trade name, Heart of Healing Therapeutics, as her public business name., and has gone fully independent of other businesses as of April 2021. Missing doing the work, Carol again linked up with the auto-injury clinic again in December of 2022 and continues part-time with them today along with being an Independent Contractor with Medical Massage of the Rockies for the injured via Workers Comp patients. She also accepts clients outside of these frameworks and offers her variety of skills publicly.
Carol continues to study, train, and take classes in expanding and upgrading her skills and knowledge in order to provide better, more focused care. She added Medical Massage to her skill set in 2022, and Postural Alignment in 2025.

Training in Neural (nerve) Manipulation with Barral Institute
