Being a massage therapist has been a calling for me. Since I was a teenager, it simply came naturally for me.

I became a Reiki practitioner a little more than a year ago, and this has become a new, growing passion for me.

I customize all my massages to suit the client both for relaxation, tension, stretching and pain relief. If my hands

are just too strong, I use "spot Reiki." This touch of energy work helps to calm down the area that I worked particularly

hard on, and helps to dissipate the heat and minimize soreness.

The Reiki work enables the client to better heal himself, and enable the body to come back to balance and center. The

Reiki energy clears and opens the pathways through the chakras to help the energy flow more efficiently throughout the

body. Each Chakra of the body governs an aspect of the person's being; from natural intuition, all the way to personal

relationships and stability. When one chakra is inhibited in some manner being distorted, off balance or closed, it

in turn affects other chakras by causing pain and imbalance. Massage can help in these areas, but only to an extent.

A person's Qi, needs to allow the energy to flow freely in order for the emotional and spiritual state to bring the physical

body back to balance.

Massage Therapy and Reiki both independantly and cooperatively are a very essential to a person's overall health and

well being.
