Benny is a born and raised Portland local and had previously worked in the mortgage industry. He has always been inclined to seek a profession in the health field due to his empathetic nature. The leading catalyst into shifting careers to massage therapy was when he obtained a low back injury. He found that traditional western medicine only masked his ailments and did not treat underlying issues that can be associated with chronic pain. With the integration of bodywork and physical therapy did he begin to find progress in healing. His experience with massage gave a new sense of mindfulness and hope. Through his journey he sought further education into naturopathic disciplines.
