My journey started as an herbalist over 25 years ago. This led to my introduction in a bodywork tradition from the Mayan Healers of Belize. After passing my licensed massage therapy exam in 2003, I flew to Belize to study with the Mayan Healers and Dr. Rosita Arvigo. After completing 50 case studies in 2005, I became certified in The Arvigo Technique of Maya Abdominal Therapy. My practice over the past 12 years has been predominantly abdominal therapy for fertility and pelvic issues, digestive health, out of position uterus and/or bladder, diaphragm adjustments, scar tissue and abdominal adhesion, and emotional release. In 2007 I developed Bio-Energetic Body Therapy (formerly Tourmaline Body Therapy) to assist with body armor and specific areas of chronic, tight muscles. My long and loving relationship with plants and flowers and my knowledge of body as vibration has guided me to incorporate plants, plant essences and sound vibration to deepen and enhance each body work session.
