My interest in massage began in the early 1990's. After sustaining multiple injuries in an automobile accident, massage was what pulled me through and enabled me to get back on the move.

I attended Therapeutic Massage Training Institute (TMTI), Charlotte, NC in 1992 and completed my training with Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy also in Charlotte, NC in 1995. I hold a license in the State of North Carolina and am well versed in Swedish, Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, and Myoskeletal Alignment Therapies. I may also incorporate Hot stone massage, reflexology, clinical aromatherapy, and myofascial release techniques into my toolbox.
Massage can be a tool used for so many issues such as stress, relaxation, headaches, neck and shoulder pain. Frozen shoulder, sciatica, hip, leg or foot pain. Back pain, the list goes on and on. The benefits are outstanding. My choice in this career has lasted so long because of my passion for the work. I enjoy seeing the relief and benefit it brings to my clients.
My practice is located in Taylorsville, NC, inside Lolyann Company Salon and Spa.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, working outside, playing the piano, and Yoga. In 2016 I became a certified Yoga Instructor. Yoga is a wonderful adjunct to massage therapy. As people age, they loose flexibility and balance.

Extensive study of the therapeutic quality essential oils hold and the education to use them safely and effectively. Blending classes, intake from clients to determine the proper oils to use that will not have an adverse effect on their body. Many people will argue a case between the terms PURE, THERAPEUTIC, CLINICAL. However, there are no standardized quality certifications for essential oils. Terms like therapeutic grade or clinical grade only mean what the supplier intends and is not a measure of superiority. The term therapeutic quality, which means the beneficial constituents are present in the oil and in the right amounts, as demonstrated by the GC/MS (gas chromatography and mass spectrometry) testing results.
