Nathan Cook is a 2007 graduate of the Career Training Academy in Pittsburgh, PA. He is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Pennsylvania, and is a certified member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. Nathan Cook is a 2007 graduate of the Career Training Academy in Pittsburgh, PA. He is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Pennsylvania, and is a certified member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. During his years in the massage field, Nathan has worked at a variety of locations, including Massage Envy, Salon Vivace, Russ Medical and Sport Massage Clinic, Harmony Day Spa, and WellCare Medical Associates.

Nathan specializes in sport, orthopedic, and deep tissue massage, but is also fluent in relaxation massage, hot stone massage, and other spa modalities. Before entering the world of massage therapy, Nathan studied classical percussion at the Cleveland Institute of Music in Cleveland, OH. Some of his very first massage clients were fellow music students who wanted to prevent the acquisition of repetitive-strain injuries, and/or wanted to combat the stress associated with being an aspiring artist. He continues helping his clients fight the effects of stress (both physical and mental) today through his massage sessions.

I really like the way Nathan uses pressure points, and is able to massage all the muscles involved in a painful area. He is very professional, and attempts to help in any way he can. I felt a little rushed which I know why and he didn't have much control over it; I just wish we would have had more time on my neck. I think next time I'll book more time as well. But I definitely recommend him; I think he does an excellent job.

Nathan was very accommodating with my schedule, even working into late Sunday evening and came right to my hotel room. His technique was great, blending relaxing massage with deeper tissue techniques and even active stretching when appropriate. He provided more than just a general relaxation massage but really targeted my problem areas and spent him time there. I'd highly recommend Nathan as a therapist in the Pittsburgh area!
