I am a lifelong student, always engaged in the pursuit of knowledge and passionate about using that knowledge to help others!  In addition to being a Licensed Massage Therapist (LA9541),  I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling. I have an in depth understanding of how pain, disability, stress, and tension can affect one's life. The massage that I received allowed more freedom of movement in joints and muscles that have been injured or overused. Although I was a bit sore the following day, I feel a marked improvement in my movements and flexibility.

perfect! addressed my concerns, brief talk before the massage was good to explain points needed on the massage and my general health. Massage was awesome. Felt good afterward and was met with smiles. Overall, I will be back for sure.!

I had total shoulder replacement 7 months ago. In 2- 30 min sessions, Melanie was able to increase the range of motion in my new shoulder by 5 to 10 percent.
