Massage therapy is a highly personal experience, and its effectiveness is enhanced when there is a shared trust between the therapist and the client. Trust requires knowledge and experience, so, in the hope that you would allow me the privilege providing this service for you, I would like to take this opportunity to briefly share with you some details about my reasons for choosing this profession, my experience, and my goals as a massage therapist. 

Whether it is a result of my Christian beliefs or my upbringing, I can’t say for certain, but for as long as I can remember the satisfaction I’ve received from helping others has been more meaningful and longer lasting than that derived from any other endeavor. My desire to find a tangible way to help improve the quality of life of those around me inspired me to find a career that would allow me to accomplish that goal. So, in 1999 I chose to obtain the professional education, training, and certifications which enabled me to become a licensed massage therapist. Since that time I have had opportunity to practice and develop my skills in a variety of environments. Those opportunities ranged from providing massage therapy, as both a preventative measure and a source of relief, for those employed in industries where repetitive strain injuries (RSI) are common, to popular resort settings, where most of my clients were seeking a brief reprieve from the stress of their daily lives.

I’ve spent over 15 years honing my skills, striving to provide high-quality and professional massage therapy. In 2015 I was honored to be voted as one of the “Best of the Times of Acadiana” award winners for massage. My goal is to help others reduce the stress and pain in their lives as they pursue the things they care about. My experience has proven to me that everyone can benefit from massage therapy, and I’m confident that you will come to the same conclusion.
