I have a passion to problem solve to achieve client goals. I enjoy working with athletes utilizing sports massage, and those with physically demanding jobs.

I Became interested in massage therapy as a CNA, working in hospitals and skilled nursing facility's for a plethora of people with differing conditions. This sparked my desire to learn more about anatomy and all its facets. Massage therapy has taught me that the smallest imbalances can make the greatest difference in our daily lives; from the way we may sleep to that one foot we favor and like to lean on. Having worked as a CNA I have a greater understanding of the demands it puts on the body and incorporate that into my massages.

The human body is always changing and there’s something new to learn at every stage. Let’s take a breath ,be present, and listen.

Cupping Methods

When we work on fascia we work on PAIN. Cupping allows negative pressure to lift one's tissue and release adhered fascia. The adhered fascia then causes restriction and dysfunctions in surrounding areas and creates an imbalance. The benefits of Cupping- -Analgesic-Manages pain -Relaxing -by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system -It creates a fascial spreading -Increases circulation- Allowing for accelerated healing -Assist Lymph by creating negative space Causes of adhesions- >Injury >Posture >Under Activity >Stress >Surgery > Dehydration Posture is the #1 cause of fascial adhesions. And the #2 cause is Stress. Stress causes us to tense up and that creates a load on our fascia and muscles. Attentive and effective masseuse with an approachable demeanor and healing hands.

Steven was very sweet, but he definitely needs more training. He needs to use more lotion, and focus more on massaging as opposed to pushing on pressure points. Also, I've been receiving massages for almost 20 years now, and I've never been told to my face that "if anything inappropriate happens in the session, that the session will end." It made me uncomfortable so I would suggest not saying that in the future. I unfortunately will not be returning but I wish Steven the best.

I've seen many massage therapists and Steven was great. He has his own technique, really feels out where your trouble areas are, and works on them. He's very professional and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an intuitive massage therapist.

Steven did my arms, legs and feet really well. He did my neck well, but would have liked less pressure on my neck area. It was a little uncomfortable at times. When I was on my belly I would have liked a longer rub on my entire back, but overall it was a nice message. I really enjoyed him helping me to relax in the beginning by having me inhale deeply and exhaling.
