The challenging fast paced 5K run, the long endurance run of the Newport Marathon I have been racing for over 10 years.

The challenging fast paced 5K run, the long endurance run of the Newport Marathon I have been racing for over 10 years.

As an age grouper I have experienced the thrill of the podium during the hurried and thrilling speed of the sprints to the long endurance and sometimes seemingly impossible finish line crosses at IMLP in 2014 and again in IMMT in 2016.

I have enjoyed the challenges presented at the muddy and hilly Warrior Dash and the adventures of the Greenway Challenge.

Through it all I have lived, dreamed, experienced the endless hours of training and have also fallen victim to injury. Never wanting to give up but having to change my goals due to damages to my body that I didn’t want to face.

I understand the sport. I know what it takes to train. I know the heartbreaks of injury. All of these life experiences have led me down the path which I follow today.

As a graduate of Bancroft School of Massage, I hold certifications in MyoFascial Release and Thai Table Massage.

Recently I visited Kripalu and attended Integrated Positional Therapy Level II.  This along with the other modalities I have studied gives me a better understanding of the human body and how it works.

As an athlete I specialize in Sports Massage which uses massage techniques to focus on certain pathologies. I use these techniques with a therapeutic approach resulting in an overall treatment that has helped athletes for over 2 years.

I have seen the benefit of Massage Therapy which has helped me in so many ways during training. It has kept me healthy as well as it has helped me to recover from injuries such as hamstring pulls, issues with my foot, hip, and glutes. Massage Therapy is simply amazing.

I am the owner of SportsZenergy located in Worcester. My goal is to help others to reach their goals, stay healthy and happy.
