Margo Farnsworth has been drawn to nurturing people throughout her career. She’s been a licensed massage therapist since 2005, graduating from the Central Massachusetts School of Massage. She is continually seeking to extend her skills and practice and is passionate about her work (one client refers to her as a “massage nerd”). She takes a slower and deeper approach, focusing on creating a therapeutic effect working with the fascia. Margo’s practice centers on helping people recognize the patterns of their body movement and posture which lead to their discomfort and pain. Understanding that injury often occurs because the body is already out of balance, she places postural correction at the heart of her practice. Often a session will consist of both assisted stretching and massage.

SMRT - Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique

Full body trained. Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique (SMRT), taught by Dawn Lewis, is a concept that begins with passive contraction of muscles, ligaments, connective tissues, and bones simultaneously to allow spontaneous release of these structures. SMRT stimulates lymphatic flow and creates a natural unwinding of connective tissues, which allows the joints of the body to realign effortlessly, re-establishing correct posture. While doing all of this, SMRT also quickly alleviates soreness in tissue, permitting you to work deep tissues that have not been accessed before. Finally, SMRT release both physical and etheric energy. The release of the ATP necessary to hold muscles tight and joints out of alignment lets the body relax and further the healing in the area. The release of the etheric energy held in the area creates energetic flow through the meridians and chakras of the body.

Biosynchronistics

BioSynchronistics® draws on traditional physical therapy techniques, and is enhanced with a holistic approach based on both the force of gravity and the body’s inherent ability to heal itself. BioSynchronistics® combines manual therapy approaches that balance, sequentially, all of a body’s systems.

Structural Essentals - Legs & Feet
