To change the world first change yourself.

I have been practicing massage since 2005, beginning in Flagstaff, AZ, then spending 8 years in Salt Lake City, UT, and have been here in western Washington since 2013.  The majority of my career has been focused on deep tissue and injury recovery.  Being a skier and avid outdoors woman led me to a degree in sports science and physiology from the University of Utah, and through a yoga teacher training, all of which have deepened my knowledge of how the human body functions and recovers.  An eternal student I have studied a plethora of massage modalities ranging from Thai massage to craniosacral therapy, and incorporate many of them into my massage sessions to best fit my clients' needs.  I've spent several years working in high end spas and have a great respect for the 'whole experience', and love to add in essential oils, hot stones and any other elements that will help the whole self to let go.

I believe that bodywork and Yoga are some of the best ways to learn from our bodies, allow our minds to be quiet and to find some peace in our chaotic lives.  Trust is the most important aspect in my relationship with clients and I would love the opportunity to work with you.

Love coming here

I really appreciate Tenney being willing to do a house call during these crazy times. Her deep tissue massage with some mobility positions really grinder out some deep sore and tight spots I didn't even know were there, within the first ten minutes that she excels at her craft. She was also a very pleasant and professional which rounded out a flawless experience, I hope to get another massage with her again soon!

Tenny is amazing! Even when she gets into the tight areas that take your breath away, I always feel better after a visit. The location is comfortable clean and spacious..

Tenney did an excellent job, especially helping to relax the muscles around my knee after a somewhat recent knee replacement surgery. The view from the massage room is wonderful and very peaceful.

You can tell she really knows how the muscles in gbr body work and educates herself on what's helpful. Best massage!

Tenney was amazing. My shoulders and neck felt so loose every time after our session. I have no problem recommending Tenney to anyone!

My husband has had numerous back surgeries. Over the years he has worked with many, many massage therapists--and then he discovered Tenney. Her approach combines several techniques, which he finds unique to her. As a result, Tenney successfully drops his pain significantly and increases his mobility, so that he can continue working 13 hr days. Anytime he misses his weekly massage, the difference is significant both in pain escalation and overall ability to function normally. In addition, I find Tenney to be one of the loveliest people I know. She is dedicated to her work, year after year, never taking a patient for granted because he is a regular, never altering from her cheerful, radiant approach to life and healing.
