Melissa received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Austin Peay State University in 2004. She taught elementary art education full time for ten years. While teaching, Melissa completed a 220 hour interdisciplinary yoga teacher training program at Amalam School of Yoga at Outer Banks Yoga in January 2014. She completed the massage program with a 4.0 GPA. Melissa enjoys many types of massage and yoga. She also enjoys Reiki and energy work. Melissa is a member of AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) and registered with Yoga Alliance.
